Uplifted Foundation is particularly dedicated to aiding vulnerable individuals who may lack alternative means of support or encouragement. We are proud to partner with and support organizations who work directly with these individuals by providing aid to help them positively move forward in their journey.
Christ’s Home serves disadvantaged children and youth by providing a stable, caring home, while meeting the educational, medical, emotional, and social needs of children through a variety of focused programs. As its first uplifting initiative, Uplifted Foundation provided rent assistance for one year to a young woman who was graduating from their Transitional Living Program to help her focus on education and employment. She is now thriving, living independently, and giving back to her community by demonstrating that with the help of others, you can change the direction of your life.
Anne, pictured here with Michael Kane, was the first recipient of our Next Steps Program grant, which allowed her to move out of Christ’s Home Transitional Living and into her own apartment where she is thriving.Pennsylvania Adult & Teen Challenge has been at the forefront of addiction recovery since 1962, offers faith-based, comprehensive treatment programs to men and women. Uplifted Foundation has issued grants to PAATC graduates for use towards housing, employment search, vocational training, and more.
Uplifted Foundation also supports PAATC’s efforts in the Kensington section of Philadelphia, an epicenter of the opioid pandemic, to help drug users enter detox and begin their journey toward recovery. Since late 2023, PAATC has helped hundreds of people leave the streets of Kensington to enter their program for treatment and spiritual discipleship. Gifts from Uplifted Foundation have been used towards transportation for treatment, outreach supplies such as food, clothing and hygiene kits and more.
Project Hero is an organization dedicated to helping Veterans and First Responders affected by PTSD, TBI and other conditions achieve rehabilitation, recovery and resilience in their daily lives. Uplifted Foundation supports Project Hero by contributing to their transformative six-day cycling challenges, offering veterans an opportunity to engage in daily rides ranging from 50 to 95 miles. These rides serve as a physical challenge and collective effort where riders are a unified team, with each pedal stroke symbolizing progress in their individual and shared healing process.
Since 1987, the mission of Saints Prison Ministry has been to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to prisoners through athletics and to mentor them towards maturity as they successfully transition into family and community. Today, they operate men’s softball, soccer, and basketball teams and women’s softball and volleyball teams. The Saints Prison Ministry reaches inmates with the Gospel by taking full athletic teams into prisons and competing directly with the inmate all-star teams. Uplifted Foundation actively supports existing programming efforts to benefit prisoners and collaborates closely with Saints Prison Ministry to enhance and expand the reach of these initiatives.
Uplifted Foundation supports The Center Consulting Group’s leadership development programs, the Emerging Leader Initiative (for individuals aged 18-24) and Accelerate (for those in early stage leadership roles), to foster the growth of principled leaders. These programs utilize instruction, case studies, leadership interviews, and other methods to enhance participants’ leadership skills. Graduates of ELI and Accelerate are better prepared to lead effectively, positively impact their organizations, and advance their careers.
